A new Day…A new Learning! By Anna at La Wisdom!

Yet another beautiful day at La wisdom!

I was working today with a Child diagnosed with ADHD, who really has been on the move. This child generally finds it difficult to focus for even little more than few minutes or sit in a place. Generally has very quick abrupt movements.
While working with him today, a beautiful thing I realized when this child is given responsibility to take care of the little ones, like help little the little ones to open and close their lunch box, sit beside a child when she is working. It was surprising to see him working with this little girl, calm and composed and asking her to work with other materials.

A Child with sitting tolerance of just 10 to 15 minutes is working with a child for more than 30 minutes with different materials. When opportunities arises, children should be given responsibilities.

Let’s know how other educators and parents have been feeling, if such a strategy is utilized.
